Maternity Nurse

The role of a Maternity Nurse is typically to offer 24 hour help and support for between 4 and 7 days a week . This can be for a couple of weeks or months, depending on level of help required and budget available.

I prefer to do between 3 and 5 lots of 24 hour periods, this allowing you the rest of the week to fly solo. I will always be available to help by text or over the phone when I’m not present.

A Maternity Nurse usually moves in to your home as soon as baby has arrived and helps you as new parents to enjoy this precious time as a family.

I will offer support and advise on feeding, sleeping, bathing, how to deal with siblings and anything that as new parents you feel will be of use.

It can be quite difficult having an extra ‘guest’ staying, especially during the hectic time just after having a baby. I make sure that while fitting into your families routine I am also discrete, happy to help out with day to day household tasks and above all I’m house trained!

Please get in touch to discuss a package that suits you.

Many families have a Maternity Nurse for the first few weeks then drop down to a Night Nanny every night or a few nights a week.
